The M-7000 series is a family of network data acquisition and control modules that support Modbus RTU and DCON protocols. With the Modbus RTU protocol, the modules can easily communicate with most popular SCADA/ HMI software packages and PLC's. It has the same form factor as the I-7000 series.
The M-7017 has 8 Analog Input Channels capable of measuring Voltage or Current (+/- 20mA : requires optional external resistors) sensors. The input range is selected per module (i.e. all channels are set to the same input range).
