The ADP2230 is a mixed-signal oscilloscope (MSO) that allows users to measure, visualize, generate, record, and control circuits of all kinds. Designed with professional engineers in mind, the USB-based device features two analog inputs (50 MHz bandwidth, 14-bit resolution), one analog output, and 16 digital I/O. The device includes BNC connectors and a sturdy aluminum case, providing maximum utility within a minimal footprint. The ADP2230 includes deep memory buffers for long acquisitions and the ability to sync multiple devices for increased channel count. Users can both receive and generate digital data to test and analyze data from both processors and sensors, while simultaneously powering those systems with it’s robust power supply.
With the included WaveForms software, users can view and capture complex data, perform spectral and network analysis, and quickly retrieve large amounts of data. WaveForms’ friendly user interface has the feel of traditional benchtop software.
The feature-packed design allows the ADP2230 to perform the functions of several test and measurement devices and can replace a stack of traditional instruments.
Software
WaveForms is the free software application for the ADP2230 and enables use of the available analog and digital instruments. The hardware device communicates with WaveForms via a USB connection to your computer, allowing users to capture, record, analyze, and generate mixed signal and mixed domain waveforms. In addition to the use of instruments in the application, the WaveForms application has a script editor tool, which allows custom scripting of the instrument in JavaScript. WaveForms is designed to be run on a laptop or desktop computer and is Windows, Mac, and Linux compatible.
For even more customization potential, the WaveForms Software Development Kit (SDK) can be used to create custom applications and scripts in Python, C and additional languages. The ADP2230 is also compatible with LabVIEW and the Digilent Toolbox for compatibility with MathWorks' MATLAB Data Acquistion Toolbox.
Also included with ADP2230 is a free 30-day trial of EveryMeasure, our new data storage and visualization platform, plus a one-year subscription to Multisim Live Premium, the online circuit simulator that lets users create, learn, and share circuits and electronics online.
