The XPAC series are a range of Embedded Programmable Automation Controllers, which run on the Windows Embedded Operating system. Through its use of standard Win32API, it is relatively simple to port Windows XP applications to run on the XPAC.
They combine the functionality and openness of a PC, the reliability of a programmable logic controller (PLC) and the intelligence of I/O modules (I-8000 parallel or I-87k serial verions). It offers a better price performance compared with PC and PLC based solutions. The XPAC's can be widely used in factory automation, building automation, machine automation, laboratory automation, chemical industry, environmental monitoring, M2M…etc.
