Web based Data Loggers for Remote Monitoring and Control.

Measurement Systems announce the release of the WISE-5800.

The new WISE-5800 is a Web-based intelligent data logger/controller. This exciting new product has a range of powerful features which include:-  remote data logging, automatic logic control and remote monitoring.

Fully user configurable the 5800 can be easily set up with a few clicks using a standard web browser. 
Powerful logic control settings can be initiated with a user-friendly and intuitive web interface allowing users to implement IF-THEN-ELSE control logic in just a few clicks of a mouse.
The 5800 combines remote monitoring and data logging with a fully functional PAC. (Programmable Automation Controller)

The inbuilt controller "Rule Engine" checks whether the rules are valid or not and determine the execution of actions under specific conditions. For example, setting up an I/O channel values, performing scheduled or timer tasks, or sending Email messages or CGI commands under specific conditions.

Main features include:

Data Logging. 
With the inbuilt  micro SD card, WISE provides Data Logging of all the real-time I/O data. This data can be sent routinely, or on an event, by FTP or email to the user for further data analysis

IF-THEN-ELSE logic rule execution.
The WISE controller is equipped with a powerful set of user configurable commands  in the form of an "IF-THEN-ELSE logic Rule Engine". There are up to 36 IF-THEN-ELSE rules for users to set up the logic of the controller.

User configurable and simple to use.
WISE provides user-friendly browser accessible user interface for configuration and editing control logic on the controllers.

Built in configuration no additional software required
WISE HMI interface runs on regular Web browsers. To edit control logic, it only requires a browser to be connected to the Web server on WISE controller. No additional software is required on the target PC.

Supports a wide range of hardware.
Can be easily interfaced with a wide range of available I/O hardware. Including analog inputs and outputs, digital I/O and counters.

Support Modbus RTU Slave Module WISE can be connected to devices that support Modbus RTU Slave protocol for I/O monitoring.


Standard Timer and Scheduler functions.
WISE has inbuilt timing and Scheduling functions.  Tasks can be executed at  scheduled dates and times. In addition timers are available to create distinct time intervals between tasks, or to create time delays. 

Email message and CGI command transmission.
WISE supports email messaging and CGI command transmission. These transmissions can are provided by the command set associated with rule engine. As such emails or CGI commands can be sent periodically or as a result of an event.

Recipe function for Group Action operation
Recipe functions are available which enable the execution of pre-set sequences. Recipes can responds to IF-THEN-ELSE logic rules conditions. Different Recipe sets can be edited to meet various requirements for different applications.

Real-time monitoring system status of controllers
WISE supports Modbus TCP/RTU Protocol for users to perform real-time monitoring and control of the controllers using SCADA. In addition, WISE provides an easy to view basic HMI web interface for real-time monitoring. This enables users to obtain important real time system information without additional SCADA software.

Logic Rule configuration has Password control.
The WISE HMI web page offers password protection, with management of the password through the admin section of the user software. 

 I/O can be added either through the I-7000 series of modules, or the new micro XW modules that can be connected directly to the unit. WISE 5800 offers very a wide range of functionality at a very competitive price.
