Description

The EC-3V is used by power distribution companies, voltage and energy optimisation companies, facilities management, electrical or site services and maintenance engineers to monitor voltage variations on site helping them to diagnose any voltage related issues, or to gather data perhaps to make representations to their power supplier. Voltage optimisation companies also use the product to monitor voltage levels pre and post optimisation.

Two sizes are available, the larger EC-3V and the smaller SL-3V, which is about a quarter of the size. The SL-3V has a shorter battery life of approximately 9 months, around 1/3 of the EC-3V (24 months). Note the EC-3V has native USB communications and has a phase sequence (rotation) checker as standard, and the SL-3V has RS-232 comms and no integral phase sequence checker.

The advantage of the Electrocorder products over most others is that our data loggers constantly sample information (recording the Min, Max and Average)over the set period, many other products only take 'snap shots' of what isgoing on and can miss 99.9% of the data that is critical to your analysis.
