The measurement processors provide the processing power and communications for the distributed Datascan systems. The modules have an integrated 16 bit ADC, and RS232 port to connect to the host computer, and a real time RS422 network to enable other processors to be connected over a distance of 1Km.
Measurement processors can be supplied with or without inbuilt scanners or I/O. Also they can be supplied with or without a network interface.
The Datascan 7010 Measurement has onboard ADC, expansion port for connection to additional signal expansion modules, and a serial port for connection to a host computer. In addition a network port is provided for distributed operation.
The 7220 is a stand alone 16 channel analog measurement processor. The unit can be used for the measurement of DC voltages, temperature, 4-20 ma and current.
The 7221 Measurement processor includes 8 integral Analog Input Channels, individually configurable for Voltage, 4-20mA Current, Thermocouple, Strain, PRT and Resistance measurement.
The 7320 is a measurement processor with 16 channels of analog input unit for measuring temperature, voltage and 4-20ma sensors. The 7320 has an expansion port which enables the unit to be expanded up to 256 channels.
The 7321 is a 8 channel analog measurement processor designed for measuring temperature, voltage, Strain, RTD's and 4-20ma sensors. The 7321 has an expansion port which enables the unit to be expanded up to 256 channels. The unit can be expanded with either analog or digit channel with expansion modules.
The 7327 is a 16 channel analog input unit for measuring temperature, voltage and 4-20ma sensors. The 7327 has an expansion port which enables the unit to be expanded up to 256 channels. The 7327 is isolated to 250V DC.
