Create an account/Log-in

In order to buy and order on line or see our pricing you will need to create an account. You can do this by going to “click here to buy online” or once you have selected details on a product you can register to see pricing.

Once you have registered we will send you an email confirming your username and password. All you need to do on future visits is to log on using these details.

Selecting the required product

If you know what range of products you are looking for, simply click on the appropriate link in the Products section. Otherwise you can try searching by typing a keyword in the search box at the top of each page.

Is this product suitable for me?

Please ensure that you have selected the correct version of the product that you require. When purchasing software it is especially important to check the system requirements carefully.

If you do not see the product that you want or would like to discuss your purchase options then please call us on +44 (0) 1635 576800 during normal UK office hours.

Adding products to your basket

When you have found the product you require click the "Add to Basket" button to save it in your shopping basket. Now that the product is stored in your basket you can continue shopping or proceed to checkout.

Your basket can be reviewed at any time by clicking on the tab named “Basket” at the top of the page.

When you are ready to place your order, click the "Checkout" button

Purchasing

The first stage of the order process is to confirm your shipping address.

If you have a different shipping address to the one shown please select “Change Address” and complete your required shipping address.

The shipping price will be quoted on this page.

At this stage you may also add any comments to your order.

After confirming your shipping address click on the “continue” button.

On the next page you will be asked to choose a payment method. If you wish to pay via purchase order account please select purchase order account and enter your purchase order number and click on the “continue” button.

You will then be taken to our confirmation page. After viewing and checking the confirmation page click on the “Confirm Order” button to confirm your order.

If you wish to pay by credit or debit card select the Protx Direct option and complete your credit card detials. Please then click on the “continue” button to confirm your order.

Your details will be sent via secure connection to Protx our payment service provider.

Once you have ordered

Following the completion of your order we will send you a confirmation email. This will include your order number which should be quoted in any future communication regarding your order.

Delivery Information and costs

All our products are shipped via courier or similar service which requires a signature upon delivery. Please try to arrange for somebody to take receipt of your order.

The cost of delivery will be clearly stated when you place your order and is calculated on the weight of the products you have ordered as per the following:

The majority of our products will be dispatched within 21 days.

Our Returns Policy

We can only accept returns where the items are unused and remain in their original packaging. Items should be returned by a secure method at your cost to the following address:

Return items may be subject to a restocking fee of £50, unless the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) regulations 2000 applies, (see below).

Cooling-off Period /Order Cancellation

If you are a “consumer”; meaning an individual who is not acting for the purposes of his or her business or profession, you have the statutory right to withdraw from your purchase of an item within seven working days of the day after the date the item is delivered to you. However, we regret that we cannot accept cancellations of contracts for the purchase of software products where the product box has been opened.

To cancel your purchase under this cooling-off period, please contact our returns department for a returns number on 01635 576800, giving the reason for the return as contract cancellation. Please package the item securely and send it to us with the returns number, so that we receive it within seven working days of the day after date of delivery of the goods to you. For your protection, we recommend that you use a recorded-delivery service. Please note that you will be responsible for the costs of returning the goods to us unless we delivered the item to you in error, or if the item is faulty. If we do not receive the item back from you with the returns slip, we may arrange for collection of the item from your residence at your cost.

As soon as we receive notice of your cancellation of this order, we will refund the relevant part of the purchase price for that item together with the item's normal postage charge - we cannot refund any priority, express or courier component of the postage charge. For more information on your right to withdraw from your purchase within the seven working day cooling-off period, visit the UK Department of Trade and Industry's Web site.

Purchase Order Account - Cheques/Postal Orders/Bank Transfers

If you would like to pay by cheque or postal order, simply select the Purchase Order Account option on the Order Payment page and send us a personal cheque, postal order or bank transfer for the total amount of your order.

With regard to off-line payments we do not dispatch the items until your funds clear. This will mean a delay in the delivery of your order.

For example, if you are in the UK, paying by personal cheque adds about seven to ten days to the normal delivery time.

Once payment has been received and confirmed your order will be processed.

Please make cheques payable to "Measurement Systems Ltd". Unfortunately we can only accept cheques in Sterling.

Please remember to write your e-mail address, order number and your full delivery address clearly on the back of your cheque, as this will help us to process your order more efficiently.
