Modern computers are increasingly only being supplied with USB ports. Systems with parallel ports are becoming increasing harder to obtain.

For customers wishing to continue using Orchestrator on these newer systems while maintaining the flexibility of using a licence tied to a hardware key, we are able to supply a new key. Similarly if a key fails after the warranty period, a new key can be supplied.

This is also valid for customers who wish to change from a software locked licence. They can move to a hardware licence which either fits to a USB port or a parallel port.

The key is supplied with your licence already installed. This licence is then tied to this key, rather than to one particular computer as is the case with the default Software Secured Licencing.

Orchestrator software can then be installed on more than one computer, although only one system can be used at a time. This can be particularly useful, if you need to develop a configuration on one PC before moving to the final system to be used. It also removes the initial requirement to contact us for an Unlock code to use the software.
