Dry Switch Indicator/ContinuityModule

The Measurement Systems designed S-7551 Dry switch indicator/continuity module can detect volt free contact closures.

This is ideal for detecting remote relay switches where due to safety issues, no additional wiring or voltages can be introduced when interfacing with Digital Input devices.

The S-7551 unit offers 4 input and 4 outputs. Outputs are normally high (5V) when their adjacent inputs are open. When the inputs are closed (contact closure) the outputs are low (0V).

Therefore these outputs can be directly connected to digital input devices (such as I-7052/7050 and the channels will be seen as energised contact closures).
