These are normally multi-channel devices capable of recording data from a range of sensors. Usually this data can be extracted or viewed by connecting a computer or dialling in via a modem.

Our DataWeb product offers either 8 or 16 Analog channels along with some Digital I/O channels for status, alarm and control. The DataWeb has an in-built web server so that it can be configured and monitored via a web browser, either through a permanent ethernet connection or a dial-up modem connection. It can also initialise the modem to send error or data messages.

The latest section consists of a GPRS /GSM based Programmable Controller units, such as the G-4500. This system has a built-in GPRS/GMS modem along with Analog Inputs and Digital I/O. It is also expandable to communicate with other I/O units or PLC's. A GPS receiver will also be available. Support for SD Cards is also provided for Data Logging programs. A range of free, easy to use software toolkits are available.
