The NS-200 series of Ethernet switches incorporate propriety protocols that enable multiple switches to be placed into a redundant ring. A single switch, configured as the network focal point will monitor, detect and recover from a fibre or copper link failure within approximately 50ms – for the majority of applications a seamless process.
